Excellent food & service!! We were in town for a family wedding & stopped by for breakfast. Omelettes are terrific & sausage gravy is to die for! Kids menu was perfect & a lot of great food for a low price.

Nifty Fifty Diner takes you back in time as soon as you walk in the door, from the decor to the great food. They have very good breakfast, I usually get the specials & my husband gets the Crown Victorian (a bagel sandwich with eggs & sausage & cheese). I also enjoy the 57 Chevy burger which comes with fries but you can upgrade to tater tots when we go in for lunch. What's nice is how friendly everyone is when you go there.

So you show up in a small town on there on main street is a small family owned diner.  Score.  The motif is retro 50's with a big gas pump in the window.  Lots of car stuff hanging on the walls.  Place is packed and you are greeted with a warm smile.  So far so good.

Unfortunately, it kind of ends there.  The waitress came over to take our orders.  So I asked if the corned beef hash was homemade.  Caned.  Biscuits surely have to be homemade right, small town, family owned diner...nope, frozen.  Okay, well country fried steak?  Hand dipped and fried golden brown...nope, frozen.  So, apparently in a small town with a family owned diner you can get eggs.  Aside from that it is frozen, canned or boxed.

So, price was fine, the service was good and atmosphere was cool, I just cannot recommend unless you are in a pinch or don't mind the lack of love.

I'm sure to come back here. The customer service is outstanding and the food is tasty and well worth the price. I like that the staff are friendly and willing to engage in conversation. This classic old time diner with a classic automobile theme sends you back in time. I love it.

My husband and I went this morning for breakfast. I had the mushroom, swiss cheese omelet and it was good. The potatoes are sliced and seemed air fried. My husband had the corned beef hash but it was canned. The food was o.k. but the service was very good and everyone was friendly. The prices are very good for breakfast. Ours was really good because someone saw my husband is a Viet Nam vet and paid for our breakfast. Only opened until 1:30 7 days a week and take only cash.
